Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging online instruction to students with diverse learning needs in a virtual classroom environment.
Collaborate closely with families, educators, and school staff to create, manage, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Tailor teaching methods and strategies to address each student's unique learning requirements, ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed.
Regularly monitor and report on student progress, adjusting your teaching approach as necessary to support their growth.
Provide ongoing virtual support to families and educational teams, offering guidance and encouragement to ensure student success.

Qualifications & Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
An active Illinois Special Education teaching license.
Experience with IEP development, implementation, and management.
While not required, prior experience in virtual or online teaching is a plus.
Professional liability insurance (required for the role).
