job summary:

We are seeking a cusotmer service-oriented skilled SolidWorks Designer to join our manufacturing team. This individual will play a key role in leading the company toward the next generation of innovative products while improving existing designs. This role involves developing and optimizing mechanical designs for pumps and filtration systems. The ideal candidate has a extensive background in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office Suite.

responsibilities:

• Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and detailed technical drawings using SolidWorks.

Design fixtures, tooling, jigs, and automation equipment to improve manufacturing efficiency.

Optimize existing designs for manufacturability, cost reduction, and quality improvements.

Develop production-ready drawings with proper GD&T and tolerances to meet industry standards.

Keep all drawings/plans and build books current and up to date.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical design within a manufacturing environment.

Advance Proficiency in SolidWorks a must (certification is a plus).

3+ years using AcctVantage or other ERP software.

Experience with GD&T, tolerancing, material selection, and design for manufacturability (DFM).

Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with production and engineering teams.
