As a **Security Professional - Financial Patrols** in **Sunnyvale, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more . As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will interact with staff and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will work collaboratively with others and always act with integrity while supporting a secure environment. **Position Type: Part Time** **Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour** **Job Schedule:** **Day** **Time** Sat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM **Responsibilities:** + Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related incidents. + Observe and report any suspicious behavior or activity within the location. + Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies. + Document and communicate any security-related incidents or concerns to the appropriate personnel. + Support emergency response activities according to established protocols for the location. **Minimum Requirements:** + A valid driver's license in the state of employment is required for driving positions. + A valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements is required for driving positions. + At least 6 months of prior security experience is required. + A guard card or security license is preferred. + California Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. **Perks and Benefits:** + Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions + Schedules that fit with your personal life goals + Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities + Employee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues, and much more... **Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.** All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race/ethnicity, age, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, genetic information, disability, protected veteran status, or any other basis protected by law.
