Our firm is currently seeking an In-House Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions , including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and reports for firm leadership.
• Prepare and file quarterly/annual tax returns and ensure compliance with all federal and state tax regulations.
• Manage trust accounting (IOLTA) and client funds in compliance with Florida Bar regulations.
• Handle tax compliance and financial forecasting/strategizing .
• Work closely with management to optimize billing processes and financial efficiency .
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory agencies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or prior IRS experience preferred but not required).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience , preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, trust accounting, tax preparation, and financial reporting .
• Experience with tax compliance and financial analysis .
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills .
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment .
• Remote within the United States. Preference for Florida residents.
