Do you want to play a role in the transformation of Selling Partner Support at Amazon? We are re-inventing the experience that Sellers, Vendors, and Brands get when they sell on Amazon, and are looking for a finance partner to help lead this journey. You will partner with the tech and product teams in Selling Partner Support that are responsible with re-imagining the Seller Experience. You will partner with tech leaders to understand how we can leveraging GenAI and other tech solutions to improve both the Seller and Associate experience by improving the self-service experience and eliminating defects upstream. You will work with leaders to understand the roadmap and help with prioritization for new experiences that are only now possible with GenAI. Additionally, you will be the finance partner for the Connect with a Specialist team that is responsible for re-imagining the experience that a Seller receives when we are not able to resolve their problems up front with automation.
Key job responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to the business, operation, and product teams, creating their goals and advising where they should be investing to drive automation, productivity, and other improvements across their organization
- Analyze variances vs. plan within the business and provide insight to business partners including cost-saving and process improvement recommendations
- Partner with Senior Leaders (Senior Managers and Directors) in the business, product and operations to tackle ad-hoc request like launching a new program, making trade-off decisions, and driving conversations on Down Stream Impacts and Return on Investment.
- Drive process improvements to Invent & Simplify efforts across cross-org mechanisms
- Great at solving ambiguous, complex problems
- Able to communicate clearly, concisely with senior leaders
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
- 6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
- 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
