Job Description for FEMA Project Delivery Manager (PDMG)

Position Overview :

iParametrics is seeking experienced professionals to serve as Project Delivery Managers (PDMGs) for FEMA disaster recovery operations. PDMGs play a critical role in managing disaster recovery projects, ensuring compliance with FEMA Public Assistance (PA) guidelines, and facilitating communication between FEMA, applicants, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

• Serve as the primary point of contact for disaster recovery projects, working closely with applicants and FEMA staff.
• Conduct site inspections to evaluate disaster damage, including public infrastructure and facilities.
• Develop scopes of work, cost estimates, and project documentation in compliance with FEMA guidelines.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, historical preservation, and hazard mitigation standards.
• Utilize FEMA’s Grants Portal to manage project data, updates, and reporting.
• Coordinate with engineering, environmental, and financial teams to address project requirements and obstacles.
• Provide regular updates and recommendations to applicants and FEMA leadership.

Basic Qualifications :

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in disaster recovery or emergency management.
• Familiarity with FEMA Public Assistance (PA) programs, policies, and regulations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Project, FEMA’s Grants Portal, Xactimate, or similar platforms.
• FEMA certifications such as IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800, and IS-1014 (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications :

• Professional experience in civil engineering, environmental science, or construction management.
• Certifications in project management (PMP), cost estimating (CE), or GIS analysis.
• Experience with federal grant management and financial oversight.

Position Details :

• Location : Deployment-based, travel required.
• Duration : Contractual, dependent on disaster response needs.
• Pay : Competitive, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
