Expert Staffing West is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician II for a leading manufacturer in the city of Chino, California.
****MUST HAVE WAREHOUSING/MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE****
Facilities Technician II will be responsible for performing skilled maintenance and repair tasks on all facilities and equipment, including cleanliness of the warehouse/shop floor, general maintenance requests, assembly of furniture, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and minor construction work.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Regularly inspecting and servicing building systems like HVAC units, electrical panels, plumbing fixtures, fire alarms, and other equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnosing and fixing issues with mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, including basic repairs like replacing parts, fixing leaks, and addressing malfunctions.
• Heavy cleaning of Shop area to stop and prevent buildup of dust.
• Organization of yard, pallets, trash, and recycling.
• Performing minor cabinet carpentry tasks like door repairs, furniture assembly, wall patching, and trim installation .
• Assisting with small construction projects like painting, drywall repair, and minor remodeling.
Required Skills/Abilities :
• Knowledge of tools and techniques used to maintain, diagnose problems and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems; building structure or machinery.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and equipment manuals, ingredient lists, MSDS.
