The Environmental Science Department at Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) is seeking Adjunct Facutly to teach Environmental Science (ENV-105) in Fall 2025. This 4-credit course supports Environmental Science majors and fulfills General Education requirements. The course introduces students to the physical, chemical, and biological processes of the natural world, with an emphasis on human-environment interactions. The laboratory component focuses on field techniques, laboratory skills, data analysis, and scientific report writing.

Job Requirements:

• Master's degree in Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• Experience teaching at the community college or university level.
• Ability to work with diverse faculty, staff, and student populations.
• Availability to teach in person during day and evening hour.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro.
• Familiarity with environmental field methods and data collection.
• Experience incorporating active learning and inclusive teaching practices.

Additional Information:

Salary: $1,397.00 Per Credit Hour
