This is a remote position.
The Data Entry Typist plays a key role in ensuring data accuracy and efficiency. This position is responsible for transcribing, formatting, and entering a wide range of property and leasing-related information into internal systems. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, fast, and reliable typists who support seamless data workflows across the organization.
Fast & Accurate Typing
Transcribe handwritten notes, scanned documents, and voice recordings into typed, digital formats.
Enter textual data like lease information, property descriptions, tenant contact details, and transaction records with high speed and accuracy.
Data Formatting & Standardization
Ensure consistency in formatting, style, spelling, and structure across documents and data entries.
Adhere to company text conventions and naming standards to maintain clarity and professionalism.
Quality Checks & Error Detection
Review typed entries for typos, inconsistencies, and alignment with source material.
Correct errors proactively or consult supervisors when inconsistencies arise.
System Integration & Management
Input data into internal systems and confirm entries sync correctly with documentation files and databases.
Maintain up-to-date document versions with logical and clear file naming.
Collaboration & Task Coordination
Work closely with administrative, property management, and brokerage teams to fulfill typing and data entry needs.
Respond promptly to requests and provide regular status updates.
Process Improvement Contributions
Identify repetitive patterns or workflow bottlenecks and suggest ways to optimize typing and data processing tasks.
Help enhance clarity and consistency in documentation practices.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Specialized training or certificates in typing, office administration, or data management are a plus.
Exceptional typing speed with precision in entering and formatting written and verbal content.
Keen attention to detail with a strong eye for identifying errors and inconsistencies.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, capable of meeting deadlines efficiently.
Proficiency with standard office software and familiarity with digital document handling.
Effective communication skills plus a proactive, team-focused attitude.
