Chief Microsoft 365 Engineer Description

We are actively recruiting for a seasoned Chief Microsoft 365 Engineer to enhance our vibrant team. The perfect candidate will demonstrate a strong track record in spearheading the shift to MS Teams, complemented by a deep understanding of Slack. Our client's extensive use of Slack for communication means the move to the newer platform of MS Teams is a significant adjustment for many of their employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire migration process from Slack to MS Teams
• Deliver expert consultation on migration strategies and their implementation
• Design custom migration agendas that cater to the unique demands of the client
• Tackle and resolve any challenges or concerns users might face during the shift to MS Teams
• Ensure readiness to operate within the EST time zone to support the primary group of users
• Formulate and cultivate MS Teams best practices across the organization
• Mentor and support users to ensure their proficiency with MS Teams
• Supervise and analyze the adoption and efficiency of MS Teams
• Collaborate extensively with IT departments to guarantee a flawless integration of MS Teams with existing company frameworks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Microsoft 365 Engineer specializing in MS Teams
• At least 2 years in a leadership or team management capacity
• Participation in at least 2 full cycle projects or various projects covering different phases of development lifecycle
• Profound knowledge of Slack’s features and its potential for integration
• Proficient in deploying and managing Microsoft 365 Apps
• Extensive skills in configuring, migrating, and administering MS Teams
• Exceptional communication abilities to interact effectively with stakeholders and users
• Fluent English, with at least a B2 level of proficiency

Nice to have

• Experience with additional communication and collaboration tools besides Slack and MS Teams
• Certifications related to Microsoft 365
