Part-Time Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) – Avon Lake Animal Clinic (Avon Lake, OH)

For over 60 years , our team has provided exceptional veterinary care for small animals, exotics, and pocket pets . We are seeking a detail-oriented, efficient, and independent Pharmacy Technician to support our growing practice.

About the Role:

• Part-time position (15-20 hours per week)
• Mid-day shift , working a couple of days per week with a rotating Saturday schedule
• Ideal for someone who thrives working independently but enjoys being part of a team-oriented culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions for hospitalized patients and outpatient appointments
• Manage pharmacy email and voicemail , assisting clients with prescription needs
• Order and maintain hospital inventory to ensure essential supplies are available
• Oversee controlled substances , including logging, ordering, and compliance
• Work closely with RVTs, veterinarians, and CSRs to ensure exceptional client and patient care
• Accurately calculate pharmaceutical dosages and maintain knowledge of medical terminology

Requirements:

• PTCB Certification (CPhT) required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Must pass a drug test and background check (smoke-free, drug-free workplace)
