Sodexo's growing Healthcare Technology Management Division is seeking solution-oriented candidates who excel at customer service with a proven success as an experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician II to support Healthcare Technology service for Nebraska Medicine located in Omaha, NE. ****A valid driver's license and acceptable driver's license record check is required.**** What You'll Do: Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, maintain and calibrate a basic range of clinical equipment, devices, systems and instruments.Provide advanced support of equipment for direct patient careInteract on a routine basis with clinical health providers in the identification of technology based problems and solutionsSolve organization-level customer service issues and complaintsPrepare required documentation and reportsEnsure regulatory complianceFinancial responsibility for purchasing parts and serviceDemonstrate a safety mindset Participates in and conducts on-the job training programs regarding technical, administrative, and customer service requirements. What You Bring: A minimum of 3 years of experience repairing, maintaining, and calibrating medical devices independently. Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.The ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical devices. Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills. Experience effectively repairing, maintaining and calibrating clinical devices such as: General Biomedical Devices- ESU's, Vital sign machines, Defibrillators, AD's, Telemetry, EKG, IV Infusion Pumps, Patent Monitoring Systems, plus OR, and Ventilators (not all are required). Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum Education Requirement - Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environmentMinimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting
