Description Boutique real estate litigation and landlord/tenant law firm located in San Francisco is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney! As part of the team, you will be handling cases from initiation to conclusion, making court appearances, and getting trained in San Francisco housing law. Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage multiple cases from beginning to end - Draft legal pleadings for various matters - Conduct thorough law and motion practices - Respond efficiently to discovery requests and draft responses - Appear in court for hearings, settlement conferences, and trial calls - Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success for our clients - Acquire comprehensive knowledge of San Francisco housing law - Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills - Exhibit excellent research and writing skills - Multitask independently and manage time effectively Requirements - Possession of a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. - Active membership in good standing with the State Bar. - Demonstrable experience or willingness to learn Unlawful Detainer cases. - Excellent legal research and writing skills. - Ability to handle multiple cases with varying levels of complexity. - Proficiency in using legal software for case management. - Exceptional negotiation skills for settlements outside of court. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion. - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and make sound decisions. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, other attorneys, and court officials. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
